About Us:

Texas Iron and Interiors (formerly Alamo Heights Ironworks) was formed in 2002 to manufacture custom and special order decorative iron accessories for the home. We design and fabricate wrought iron drapery hardware, tapestry hardware, plaques and other iron accessories. We have learned from hands-on experience how to build a quality product at a competitive price.

Interior Designers/Trade Orders:

Interior Designers are eligible for a Business Account and can request a Trade Price Catalog. Designers must have a valid sales tax number indicating a design business and a business card. Please download a Business Account Application. Please fill out and fax to 512-590-8650.

Our iron artisans are very talented, and we welcome all custom merchandise inquiries. We can't guarantee we will be able to meet every request, but we do fill many custom commissions. Please note that custom orders must be pre-paid and cannot be cancelled or returned.

We accept personal checks, money orders and cashiers checks. Returned checks will incur a $25.00 charge for handling. All orders that are paid for by check or money order must be paid in full when the order is placed.

Typgraphical or Out of Stock Errors:

This website and the materials herein are provided “as is.” Texas Iron and Interiors expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, of any kind with respect to the site.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or the product is no longer available, Texas Iron and Interiors will have the right to refuse or cancel, without liability, any orders placed for product. If your credit card has already been charged, we will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Sales Tax:

Texas residents will have sales tax of 8.25% added to their orders.


Texas Iron and Interiors strives to ship orders in as timely a fashion as possible. Please call for an estimate on shipping times for custom orders.

Shipping Outside the Lower 48 States:

Our online shipping costs currently reflect the cost for shipping in the lower 48 states only. If you are shipping to a location outside the lower 48, additional shipping cost may apply. please contact us and we can provide you with an estimated shipping cost to your area.

A Note about Rod Splicing:

A Note about Rod Splicing: Since there is a maximum package length, we will splice any rod which exceeds 96". Any rod ordered over 96" will be divided in half. Rods over 168" will be spliced in 3 sections. Corner and bay rods will be spliced at the corner. Our splicing method is virtually invisible once installed (with brackets and set screws at the splice seam to support the rod).

A Note about Finishes:

All computer screens display color differently. If you are concerned about variations in color, you should order a Sample Finish Kit to review before placing your order. Due to the handcrafted nature of our proudcts, we provide no guarantee that finishes will "match" exactly from one piece to the next, and we do not guarantee that our iron products will not oxidize (rust).

Returns and Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will exchange the product or refund the cost of your purchase within 30 days, less a 20% restocking fee. Shipping costs are not refundable. Note that custom and made to order items are not eligible for return. If you have any questions, please contact us before ordering at or call us at 512-394-9222.

In order to return an item you need to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization from Texas Iron and Interiors. You have up until 30 days from receipt of your order to request an RMA. Once you have an RMA, it is good for 15 days, so please be sure to ship the product back in a timely manner. Write the RMA number on the outside of the box. We reserve the right to refuse any unapproved return and any return that is made past 15 days of receipt of RMA. Products that you wish to exchange or return must be in original factory-new condition, and must include all packaging materials and accessories. Please ship your order back to us prepaid and insured. We can not accept C.O.D. shipments.
