It’s the most anticipated free agency period in a while for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
And with that in mind, we have a few ideas for what we can expect heading into the 2016 season.
First and foremost, we need to focus on getting some talent to come in on the free agent market.
It’s no secret that the Steelers need to add a quarterback, and they do have a solid one, but there’s no denying that they also need to bolster the receiving corps and their pass rush.
While I still don’t know if they can make any major moves, the draft is going to be a huge part of that.
While it’s always difficult to predict what’s going to happen, it’s pretty obvious that they need to do a little bit of both.
The Steelers need an elite wide receiver.
They need to be able to use both Jordy Nelson and Martavis Bryant to help on special teams.
They also need a guy that can help them get in and out of the box, and their best chance at finding one of those guys is in the first round.
And while the Steelers have a lot on their plate this offseason, they can’t wait to add some quality to their roster.
So, with that, here’s what we’re expecting to see on the open market.
